Dal 10 al 12 giugno prossimi il nostro partner AIFM vi aspetta a WME - Waste Management Europe, l'evento sulla gestione dei rifiuti più collaborativo e connesso d'Europa.
Sarà un’ottima occasione per saperne di più sul progetto LIFE Fountain.
In particolare, Mercoledì 11 giugno alle ore 12.00, Davide Ceriotti (partner POLIMI) illustrerà come i reticoli metallo-organici (MOF) magnetici possono adsorbire selettivamente i PFAS contenuti nell’acqua senza necessità di successive fasi di filtrazione o formazione di sottoprodotti indesiderati.
Sviluppato nell’ambito del nostro progetto Fountain, questo metodo rappresenta una soluzione innovativa per affrontare in modo sostenibile ed efficiente il problema della contaminazione da PFAS.
La presentazione si svolgerà nel Solution Theatre allestito nel padiglione espositivo di WME e sarà tenuta in lingua italiana.

From 10 to 12 June our partner AIFM will be waiting for you at WME - Waste Management Europe, the most collaborative & connected waste management event in Europe .
It will be a great opportunity to learn more about the LIFE Fountain project.
In particular, on Wednesday 11 June at 12.00, Davide Ceriotti (POLIMI partner) will illustrate how magnetic metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) can selectively adsorb PFAS contained in water without the need for filtration steps or the production of undesired by-products.
Developed in the context of our Fountain project, this method represents an innovative solution to address the problem of PFAS contamination in a sustainable and efficient way.
The presentation will take place in the Solution Theatre set up in the WME exhibition pavilion and will be held in Italian language, but our English speaking experts will be there to provide all the information and answer your questions.
