From the beginning of this year, the FOUNTAIN partners have been actively involved in several high-impact promotion and networking activities.
Kick-off at T.GOLD
The momentum began with T.GOLD, the international show for jewelry machinery and innovative technologies, held in Vicenza from January 16th to 20th. Our partner, A.I.F.M. - Asfimet, participated as an exhibitor, showcasing the latest project developments and cutting-edge solutions to an international audience of industry experts.
MECSPE: The Manufacturing Landmark
The second appointment of the year was MECSPE, the international reference fair for the manufacturing industry, which took place in Bologna from March 4th to 6th. Thanks to the presence of the partners AIFM-Asfimet and Gruppo Gaser, this event allowed the project to interface with the broader manufacturing world, reinforcing our presence in the industrial landscape.
Strategic Networking at Milano Polytechnic
Last but not least, a significant networking activity took place in April during the round table: “From industrial waste management to the recovery of strategic metals: real cases and future perspectives.”
Organized by Circular Materials (a member of AIFM-Asfimet) with the support of AIFM-Asfimet, the event was held on April 17th at Milano Polytechnic. Moderated by Luca Magagnin (Politecnico di Milano), the meeting served as a pivotal opportunity for exchange on strategic topics such as wastewater recycling and metal recovery, successfully bridging the gap between technological innovation and the necessary regulatory framework.
While discussing wastewater treatment, stimulating conversations arose regarding the challenges of PFAS pollution. The event provided a key platform to present the FOUNTAIN project and establish valuable connections with industrial players in both the surface finishing and water treatment sectors.
